4th Of July

Our 4th of July started on the 1st. We woke up early to go and see the balloons in Provo. We did not get up early enough cause by the time we got there they had already taken off. Saturday we got up even earlier and made it to the balloons in time to see them take off. However Me, Kathryn (Liz's mom), Cason, Olivia, and Abby almost got taken out by a balloon. After we were all done we packed up and went to our ward Breakfast/ bike parade. The kids loved it. Then we made our way to the Colonial fair. It was more interesting than I thought. Then it was time to put kids down for a nap. After I had rested I was able to go to the Stadium of Fire. I loved it It was awesome. Yes I am a geek and I liked David Archuleta. Then On Sunday was an easy going day we went to Church and spent time with family. Monday Once again we got up early went to the parade and watched Dave and his co workers run by for the freedom run. Then enjoyed the parade.

We then had a BBQ at my dad's house. That was when the real fun began. We all were sitting down and eating when all of a sudden my cute little niece Paisley who was two days shy of being 1 lost her footing and fell and hit her head on my dad's sidewalk. My sister ( her mom) then picked her up and noticed there was blood. She was quite calm covered her head and said get me something. I on the other hand was not too calm. I tend to freeze with things like this. My sister in law ran inside and got my sister a rag. My sister than decided to take Paisley to the ER. I then drove them to the ER where Paisley then received one stitch and was quite a brave little girl. Even though the 4th ended on a sad note. It was so much fun.
